A contemporary ritual around the fire, a dance of bodies that were once human but have forgotten it; a dwelling place of remains turned into fine fighting birds that wonder who they are in the midst of an immense world that no longer believes in them, a flock of beasts that refuse to die of loneliness in the slaughterhouse.

“Die Kinderbibliothek” (The Children's Library) is a performance for children and adults. It marks the opening of this special library in two locations simultaneously: at Theater Rampe in Stuttgart and at Casa Arte dá Trabalho in Salvador/Bahia, Brazil. Between them lie 8,300 kilometers and a theater stage as a connecting door. The performance is about order and disorder, diverse children's literature, and an imaginary library as its home.
